Upstairs Downstairs has been a much-loved shop in the historic, beautiful town of Maldon for over 40 years.
Ian and Rachel Harrison took over the shop in April 2022 after the previous owners retired. They were keen to keep the history whilst hoping the shop will attract new clientele while maintaining the loyal customer base Andrew and Gill built during their nearly half a century at the helm.
Then everything changed…
The existing shop has been renovated into our stunning new interiors showroom, home accessories, toys and gift shop. Right in the heart of Maldon, it is now brimming with our wide range of designer fabrics and wallpapers as well as inspirational and unique gifts, toys, and home accessories.
With our experienced team of professional curtain makers and designers still on hand in our dedicated workroom we are able to offer friendly and creative advice to help you find the right fabric and style for you.
We have put together some inspiring displays using the latest fabrics from the biggest brands such as Harlequin, Laura Ashley and Clarke & Clarke and we are constantly updating our range of home accessories that we think you will love.
